Ski resort Poiana Brașov

The ski resort Poiana Brașov is located in Brașov region, located 2.5 hours’ drive from Bucharest Airport, and it is one of the most popular ski resort in the country.
For skiing and snowboarding, there are 13.7 km of slopes and 5 km of ski routes available. 10 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 941 and 1,783 m.
45% of the slopes are easy level, 35 % difficult and the rest for moderate skiing.
The ski season starts in early December and lasts up to early April.
Nearby is located the famous Dracula Castle (Bran Castle) built in 1377, and one of the most important touristic attractions in Romania.
